Presidents Letter
The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.
September 22 Meeting: We had an excellent turnout! We welcome new member Colleen Keirn who has transferred to California from the east coast.
Thank you to: Denise Dolan for setting up our meeting dates for the year with Scott¹s Restaurant. Sue Smith had summer birthday cards for those of us who are getting younger every year. Sydney Allison had the Newsletter and dinner reservations out to everyone before leaving on her two month fall trip.
Lola Ganse, Bobbie Mortensen, and Pam DeBernardi set up two bank accounts for our scholarship and awards recipients. Jackie Adams had her camera ready to catch the buzz of our members as we socialized before our meeting.
Roseann Krane has been very, very busy putting together our
2004-2005 Zeta Zeta Roster. If you have a change of information be sure to contact Roseann ASAP so we can have an updated directory. You can contact her at: rkrane@sbcglobal.net
Congratulations to our chapter grant recipients:
1. Travis Bell who will attend UC Davis
2. Aileen Mortensen who will attend Holy Names University
3. Tori Johnson who is enrolled in CLAD program at San Diego University
Just a reminder... send in your dues of $55. to Denise Dolan with your October dinner reservations. Early Birds received 2 free raffle tickets at our first meeting! Also, continue to collect school supplies for our ³Backpack Program.²
