CALL TO ORDER/WELCOME: Meeting was called to order by Co-President Diana Sawin at 6 pm.

INTRODUCTIONS:

  • Self-introductions of each member and the State where born

    APPROVAL OF LAST MEETING MINUTES: September minutes were read and approved as read TREASURER'S REPORT: As of 10/15/04 the Scholarship Account had $2566.61 The General Account has $3722.12 as of 10/18/04

    CORRESPONDENCE: An e-mail from O'Donnell: wants to continue as "inactive member"

    INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS:

    CHI STATE BUSINESS: The Info Fair in San Jose, October 9 was reported as well-organized and educational CHAPTER BUSINESS:

    The 2004-05 Chapter Directory was distributed by Roseann Krane

    Continue to bring items for Back Packs

    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • Birthday cards were given to those with October birthdays
  • Members were asked to write messages to the troops
  • Photo albums were available for members to look at

    ADJOURN BUSINESS MEETING: The meeting was adjourned at 6:35 by Diana.

    PROGRAM: Our guest speaker was Greg Warner, he was introduced by Lola Ganse. His topic was "Women and Finance". He also provided 2 copies of his book: Cookbook for Money: A Financial Guide for Women Who Want to Focus on Creating Home, Health and Happiness
