Presidents' Letter:

Happy February! Thank you to Sydney Allison and all her helpers for putting together and delivering the backpacks. Sue Robinson, Betty Leecing, Joan Knowles, Bobbie Mortensen, and Sue Robinson all met at Sydney's on Saturday, January 29 to fill backpacks. We still need binders, binder paper, notebooks, scissors, rulers, and, of course, books, books, books! We filled

45 backpacks and still have a few more to fill as soon as the supplies are replenished. Keep bringing those school items! Thanks to all for your continued generosity.

A big thank you to Lydia Snyder for being our guest speaker at the January meeting. We all enjoyed her talk on teacher mentoring. She was such an enthusiastic and dynamic speaker.

Will the following members please bring raffle prizes, not to exceed $10.00, to the February meeting: Sue Peterson, Sally Powers, Alice Reynolds, Lucille Ritchie, Alice Roberts, Sue Robinson, and Georgene Rostkowski.

See you at the Wednesday, February 23 meeting.

Diana Sawin and Bobbie Mortensen
