The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International

Promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education areas

In California we refer to our division as Chi State. Chi State is now divided into seventeen ( 17) areas. In 1955 Chi State organized into each regions each with a Regional Conference Director. In 1964 thirteen Areas existed with each Area Director serving for a two year term. As membership continued to increase, area boundaries were adjusted and areas added until the current number of seventeen ( 17) was reached.

Area III includes Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. The following chapters are part of Area III:
